Organization

Studio L is an at-large group of former students, friends, colleagues and patrons of Leslie Laskey. Through contributions and volunteering, they sponsor and manage the Laskey Fund, which grants the Laskey Award to winners of an annual design grant proposal competition.

The Laskey Fund is an endowment fund at Washington University in St. Louis governed by contractual agreement between Studio L and the university.

Established in September 2006 to provide an ongoing funding source for the Laskey Award, the immediate goal of the fund is a minimum endowment level of $100,000 to support the Laskey Award. Ongoing fund-raising seeks to reach that goal and expand the fund to an endowment level that will support multiple awards.
